We just received some fun briefs for a high-profile TV show. The details are down below.

When submitting for each brief, please use the specified link under each description and make sure to include all necessary paperwork described in the requirements.

BRIEF 1:

The music supervisor is looking for a dance song similar to “Shake What Your Momma Gave Ya” by DJ Deeon. The song should resemble vintage Chicago house music with the BPM close to the reference. The song will be used during a scene in which a character is setting up a surveillance camera while the other character is dancing around to distract her.

Pay: $5,000

BRIEF 2:

The music supervisor is searching for a strong Hip Hop Track. The song will play during a scene in which the character is mad because he just found out his colleague left his friend to die. The track should be confident, strong, and masculine with lyrical themes alluding to masculinity and being the best. We want to evoke the feeling that he might do something to defend his friend’s honor. The reference tracks are listed below.

Pay: $15,000

IMPORTANT NOTE: All songs being sent need to be clean. We can’t use clean versions; they need to exist as clean on their own if they are released on the internet or anywhere on streaming platforms.

ONLY Royalty-free samples are permitted (ex: Splice).

Submissions must be fully mixed and mastered.

PLEASE NOTE: We are now attaching our One-Stop (Exhibit A) and Pre-Clear (Exhibit B) agreements with our briefs. Any songs you submit must be sent with these agreements attached and signed. We CAN NOT pitch your music if the agreements are not signed. If sending multiple songs in which there are multiple collaborators/master owners, an Exhibit B will have to be filled out for EACH song by EACH party.
