2024 Updates and Changes in Service

Hey BE Music Family,

Happy February! We hope you are all doing well.

We would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation to each of you for working with us from the start. As you all know, we are a start-up company, and throughout our journey, we have learned so much about the sync industry and have made so many amazing connections.

Every success has opened its doors to more knowledge and opportunities. We are excited to share these important updates regarding our company's growth. BE Music is working on expanding past its current clientele and hyper-focusing on major brands, film, and TV. We are implementing some necessary changes to enhance our services and provide you with even greater opportunities.

Over the next months, we will transition into a new “Pre Clear, One Stop” business model. One of the most significant changes will be implementing our new pre-clear, one-stop agreement. These changes will attract more prominent clients, providing you with more opportunities and higher license payments. The agreement allows BE Music the consent to use music from you and any other composers you often work with before we engage with a client.

This pre-clear, one-stop approach is sought after for higher-level clientele. These kinds of agreements are industry standard as these opportunities need music fast and will not waste time waiting for music to be cleared. Having this agreement set in place gives you a much bigger and better chance of getting placed.

Effective March 15th, 2024 we will adjust our payment structure for our sync licensing fees. Currently set at 25%, the new percentage will be increased to 40%. Our payment structure change was made to expand staff and resources, a necessary change needed to target and engage with our target higher-level clients. We assure you that despite this change, our commitment to remaining artist-centered and non-exclusive remains unchanged.

By making these adjustments, we aim to offer an increased volume of opportunities with more exposure. We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we strive to provide you with the best opportunities in the industry.
